1979 Sterling Silver St Magnus Cross Scottish Bracelet by Ortak - 7" long

£30.00
sold out

This vintage bracelet is made from sterling silver. The design on the central panel is inspired by the St Magnus Cross. This cross was carved into the cathedral of St Magnus, built on the Scottish isle of Orkney in 1137. The bracelet has a length of silver chain to either side of the cross and it fastens with a trigger clasp. It’s got a full Scottish sterling silver hallmark, with the date letter for 1979 and the maker’s initials MG (for Malcolm Gray of Ortak jewellery) on the back of the cross.

Measures 7” so it’s quite a small size. It’s 1.6cm wide across the front. Weighs 5.4 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
