Antique Silver, 9ct Gold and Paste Shamrock Pin / Brooch

£78.00
sold out

This antique brooch is made from sterling silver and set with paste stones, in the shape of a lucky shamrock leaf. It features 4 pale pink pear-cut pastes, which sit within 9ct gold bezels. These are surrounded by white closed back pastes on the edge of each leaf. The stalk is fully enclosed (attached to the body of the brooch) so you could also hang it on a chain to wear as a pendant. I can completely remove the brooch fittings and add a split ring to the stalk to make it a pendant permanently for an additional £20 (email me if you’d like me to do this). It’s stamped with 925 for sterling silver and the maker’s mark of The Parisian Diamond Co who sold high quality paste jewellery from c. 1890 to 1910.

Measures 2.2cm by 1.9cm.

Weighs 4.9 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. No damage or repairs. All the pastes are original. Just has the usual light marks to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item.
