Art Nouveau French 800 Silver Goddess and Bird Mini Medal Ring - Size M / 6.5
This antique ring is made from 800 grade silver. It features an art nouveau mini medal depicting a goddess, with chestnut tree leaves behind, who’s looking wistfully at a bird about to land on her shoulder! There’s no obvious signature on the medal but I think it is probably by Louis Rault or Armand Bargas. There’s scrolled detailing on the shoulders on the ring and it has a french boar’s head silver hallmark at the back plus a maker’s stamp which is too indistinct to make out.
It’s a UK size M (about a US 6.5) and the front of the ring is 1.0cm north to south. Weighs 1.8 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Just has the usual light marks to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item.
