Vintage Kaunis Koru Sterling Silver & Rock Crystal Hinged Bangle
This vintage Scandinavian bangle is made from sterling silver and set with a large and beautifully cut rock crystal (quartz) gemstone. The bangle opens via a push in clasp at the back and it has a hinge hidden beneath the rock crystal. It’s wonderfully made and an unusual design. There’s a full Finnish hallmark for sterling silver, with the Kaunis Koru maker’s stamp and the date letter for 1973, plus a UK import hallmark.
It measures 5.5cm wide across the inside and about 6.75” around the inside. It weighs 36 grams.
Condition: In very good vintage condition. No damage to the stone and the hinge and closure work perfectly. Just the usual light surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
