Vintage Sterling Silver Scottish Luckenbooth Brooch by Ola Gorie
This vintage sterling silver brooch is by famous Scottish designer, Ola Gorie. The design features 2 entwined hearts with a stylised crown above. Luckenbooth brooches date to the 16th Century, they were given as love tokens and to ward off witches! It’s stamped St.Sil on the back and Gorie’s OMG maker’s stamp. It fastens with a rollover clasp.
Measures 3.2cm x 2.6cm. Weighs 6.7 grams.
