FOR RHONDA......Vintage 1972 830S Silver Brutalist Necklace by Pentti Sarpaneva (1925-1978)

Here I have a vintage 830 grade silver necklace by Finnish designer, Pentti Sarpaneva (1925-1978). It features a large pendant, reminiscent of a rock formation, with a dangling ball charm hanging in the centre. The pendant hangs from a bale ring with a coil of silver around the top to keep the chains in place. It fastens with a hook clasp and wears at 26.5” long. It has full Finland hallmarks on the tiny ring connecting the pendant to the bale, with the date letter for 1972 and it’s stamped P.Sarpaneva on the back..
The main body of the pendant (not including the bale rings) measures 6.3cm x 2.7cm. The chain wears at 26.5” long. It weighs 44 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. Just has the usual marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on a vintage item.
