Antique Silver and Wooden Horn Pendant, with Citrine and Amethyst Thistle
This antique Georgian/early Victorian pendant is in the shape of a horn. The body is made from carved wood and it’s set with a foiled citrine in a chased silver bezel at one end, and an amethyst within a thistle shaped mount at the other with delicate hand engraving running down the side. It’s suspended from a silver chain and bale ring. Dates from c. 1820-30.
Measures 5.2cm wide and the total drop length including the chain and ring at the top is 4.7cm. Weighs 3.1 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No damage. Just has the usual marks and wear which you'd expect on an antique item.
