1938 Sterling Silver Scottish Shield Brooch - Edinburgh Hallmark
Here I have a vintage sterling silver brooch, hallmarked in Scotland in 1938. It’s in the shape of a Celtic shield and it fastens with a c-clasp and steel pin on the back. There are full Scottish hallmarks, from the Edinburgh assay office with the date letter for 1938.
Measures 2.6cm wide. It weighs 9.3 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. Just has the usual light surface marks which you'd expect on a vintage item.
