Antique French Joan of Arc Brooch with Angel Michael by FIX
This antique brooch is made from gold fill (18ct gold bonded over base metal). It features Joan of Arc with the Archangel Michael on the front, and her burning on the back, with the years of her life, 1412-1431. It's marked FIX on the bottom at the back and the front is signed by the designer, Louis Octave Mattei on the right edge. It fastens with a c-clasp and steel pin and dates from c.1910.

Condition: Very good antique condition. No rubbing or damage to the gold fill. It has a slight kink in the pin but it seems to function well. Overall, it just has the usual light marks and wear which you’d expect on an antique item.
