Vintage Sterling Silver, Enamel and Paste Racehorse and Jockey Brooch
Here I have a vintage silver brooch in the form of a racehorse and jockey. The horse is set with bright sparkly white paste stones and the jockey and his saddle are enamelled. It’s rhodium plated so it has a bright white finish that doesn’t tarnish as easily as silver would. The back has a neat little rollover clasp and steel pin and is stamped as Sterling. The photos are taken in a mix of direct sun and shade.
Measures 4.3cm long x 2.0cm high. It weighs 5.6 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. No missing stones and they’re all still bright, white and sparkly. The enamel is in great condition too. Overall, it just has the usual very light marks too the silver which you'd expect on a vintage item.
