Antique Art Deco Spider Pendant with Paste Stones
This antique pendant is made from unmarked white metal. It features a spider in the centre of a diamond shaped frame. The spider is set with a blue paste stone for its body and a white paste head. The stones are set in yellow metal which looks like rose gold, but it's in too awkward a position to test so it's sold as yellow metal. Despite this being a very nicely made piece, I do not believe the rest of the pendant is sterling silver, just white metal (nickel or possibly low grade continental silver). There's an open jump ring at the top for hanging.
With the ring at the top, the total length is 3.3cm and it’s 1.1cm wide. Weight is is 1.7 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. No damage or repairs. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique piece.
