Vintage French Silver and Paste Bombe Cocktail Ring with Rose Gold Overlay - Size K / US 5 1/4
This vintage cocktail ring is made from silver. It features a row of white paste stones and the front of the ring is overlaid with a fine layer of 9ct rose gold. The ring has a silver hallmark on the back of the band which is too indistinct to make out but I believe it to be French in origin and circa 1930.
It’s approx a UK K (US 5 1/4). The front of the ring measures 1.6cm wide north to south, and from one end of the rose gold overlay to the other is 1.9cm. The band tapers to 0.5cm at the back. It weighs 7.4 grams.
Condition - Good vintage condition. The pastes are all original. One has dulled slightly with age, the rest are sparkly, and they all shown signs of wear when viewed under magnification but look ok to the naked eye. Structurally, the ring is in good used condition with just the usual marks to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage item.
