Antique Large Silver & Paste Lucky Number 13 Pendant

£325.00

This antique Art Deco pendant is made from solid silver. It depicts the number 13, highlighted in dark pink square cut pastes, in channel settings. The number is surrounded by a wreath shaped border, set with white pastes and an encircled scalloped design around the outside. It’s unmarked but acid tests as silver. It hangs on an unmarked chain with a push-in barrel clasp fastening. The clasp tests as silver, the chain itself is too fine to test. Dates from circa 1920.

With the ring at the top, the total length is 4.3cm and it’s 3.5cm wide. The chain is 16" long. The total weight is 8.3 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. All of the paste stones are intact and appear to be original. Most have some surface rubbing when viewed under a loupe. The silver is in very good condition, as is the chain. Overall it just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique piece.
