Vintage 1940s Sterling Silver Lion Brooch by Iain McCormack of Iona
This vintage brooch is made from sterling silver and it’s by Iain McCormack of Iona. It depicts a rampant lion, traditionally used in heraldry to signify honour, courage, strength and valour. It fastens with a rollover-clasp and it’s stamped I.M.C, Iona, Scotland and Sterling on the back. Dates from c.1940s.
Measures 3.1cm x 2.4cm. Weighs 4.1 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
