Antique 9ct Gold Stag's Head in Crown with Flower Engraved Signet Ring - Size Q.5 / 9
This fabulous antique gold signet ring is engraved with a stag’s head which sits within a crown or coronet, and he’s holding a flower in his mouth. The ring was once English hallmarked but they have worn away over the years (from use, not from resizing) and are no longer legible but I’m certain this is an antique piece, probably from around 1910-1920. It acid tests as 9ct and the photos are taken in a mix of direct sun and shade.
It’s a UK Q (US 9) and the front of the ring measures 1.5cm north to south. The back of the band is 3mm wide. It weighs 4.5 grams.
Condition - Very good antique condition. Although it has been well loved over the years the band is still good and solid and has many years more life in it. The engraving is still crisp and overall, it just has the usual marks which you’d expect on an antique piece.
