Vintage Gold-plated Silver Horse's Head Large Stud Earrings
This vintage pair of earrings are made from sterling silver which has been heavily gold plated. They’re in the shape of horse’s heads with big, flowing manes. They’re engraved with “Silver” on the back and a small area has been filed on the back of one and it’s been acid tested to confirm. They came to me with no backs so I’ve added some new large butterflys…these are just regular sterling, not gold plated.
They measure 2.5cm x 1.9cm. Together they weigh 6 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The only wear to the gold plating is from the acid test filing on the back of one earring. Otherwise, they just have the usual very light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
